The company has his origin in Caracas 1960 with the company Ingeniería Eléctrica P & M. On February 28, 1964, in Matanzas industrial zone in the city of Puerto Ordaz, (Venezuelan Guayana), the first Venezuelan lattice towers factory was born: Acero Galvanizado P & M.

By 1968 the company moves its manufacturing plant to a much more modern one in the industrial area of San Vicente in the city of Maracay, state of Aragua.

In the 1980s, ACERO GALVANIZADO P&M expanded its facilities, adding a new production plant to meet the growing demand for large diameter posts, widely used in electric transmission in Venezuela and other countries in the region.

In the following years, P&M was developing its own design methods and manufacturing processes, reflecting the experience accumulated in the execution of different projects requested by different clients.
