Our work begins when we understand the needs of the client and based on this, we design the appropriate structures to satisfy them. This step is obviously omitted if we are given the plans and manufacturing requirements.

The second step is the procurement of the raw material with our national and international suppliers, chosen according to the requirements of quality, quantity and delivery times. Although all of our suppliers provide us with adequate warranty certificates, Acero Galvanizado P&M has the chemical and mechanical laboratories that can perform routine tests to corroborate (or deny) such certificates.

Once these stages are completed, we can go into production. The Acero Galvanizado P&M productive system is made up of three very well-defined production lines

How We Do It

  • Production Workshop Plant I: Structures in latticework basically bolted, usually using sheets, angular and various profiles.

  • Production Workshop Plant II: Basically bent and / or welded structures (with MIG or Submerged Arc systems), including large diameter poles and large section profiles.

  • Two Hot Plating Systems in Plant I: Although both systems are generally governed by the same standard, (ASTM A-123), one of them is chain fed while the other by crane bridges.

When it comes to new prototypes, these are assembled to guarantee the accuracy of the plans and the perfect coupling of the different parts and screws, (generally our clients participate in these inspections so that there is no doubt about the quality of the structures), before start production in series.

We also have a huge Mechanical Workshop Department whose only function is to ensure the smooth operation of the other production workshops through various preventive maintenance plans, predictive and also sometimes corrective
